// The Concept

Subway
Meets Street.

The Bronx Girls Skate × Nike SB Dunk Low demanded a visual system as raw and vibrant as New York subway culture itself. Using generative AI, we crafted every frame — translating the shoe's stingray-textured leather, the metallic gold subway token charms, and the red-orange-green piping (each color a nod to actual MTA subway lines) into a cinematic visual universe entirely machine-generated.

Founded in 2020 by Mel Ramirez and Kava Vasquez, the BXGS collective empowers women, femmes, and gender-expansive skaters in the Bronx. This isn't just a sneaker. It's a statement — and our AI pipeline had to honor that energy.

Every Detail
Is a Statement

Materials

Black stingray-textured leather upper, reflecting the gritty elegance of Bronx street culture. The Iner model was trained to reproduce the material's unique light absorption with photorealistic fidelity.

Color System

Red, orange, and green piping — direct references to MTA subway lines that run through the Bronx. Each color was prompt-engineered to match real NYC Transit palette values, generating emissive accents through iterative refinement.

Hardware

Metallic gold "NY" subway token charms on the heels — the AI model captured physically accurate gold reflections. Gold lace dubraes with "BXGS" graffiti-style branding debossed on the tongue, all generated via Iner's detail-preservation pipeline.

Identity

Left heel reads "THE BRONX", right heel reads "THE WORLD" — debossed with precision typography. The outsole features custom graphics celebrating the borough's skate culture legacy.

The sneaker
doesn't lie.
It represents.

This collaboration is about visibility. Bronx Girls Skate created a space that didn't exist. Our job was to build the visual world that matches the energy — raw, precise, and unapologetically bold.

Every frame was art-directed to feel like it belongs on a subway platform wall, on a giant billboard over the Grand Concourse, or in a skater's camera roll at 2 AM. Real culture. Real textures. CGI precision.
